Transaction Specialist II
Primary responsibilities for the position include:
  • Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Accounts Receivable – including complex invoicing (job costing, fixed price, high volume)
  • Accounts Payable – including job costing
  • Accounting Inbox monitoring and management
  • Payroll
  • Reseller tax ID and Vendor W-9 administration
  • Regular and timely communication with Account Manager and CFO
  • Any/all tasks that provide value to KBS clients
  • Special projects as assigned
The background and experience of candidates interested in applying for the position should include:
  • A strong interest and enjoyment in performing work described in the responsibilities section
  • Ability and desire to learn new technology skills quickly and comfortably
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior bookkeeping experience
  • Strong to Proficient technology skills using Microsoft Office 2007 or later (Word, Excel, Outlook at a minimum, more applications preferred
  • Home office environment including separate work area, PC (minimum system requirements must be met) with Windows 7 or Windows 8.
  • Additional technology requirements will be communicated to candidates selected for this position and must be met on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience and interest working in a paperless environment
  • Enjoys both working independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach
  • A sense of humor and ability to go with the flow
Positions are designed to be started as part time, with the ability to expand the position to full time within 12 – 24 months. Some individuals remain at part time and others shift to full time.
